Nope. Can't.
As I stood up from the table after a client meeting today, I winced in pain.
It was noticeable enough she asked what was wrong, so I told her I had popped my knee last night doing squats to Morgan Wallen’s “Up Down”.
Every time they say up, you stand up, and when they say down, you squat back down and hold it.
Now, I’ve blasted that song a million times and never really paid attention to how many “up downs” there are… so let me just say I now know there are WAY too many!
Anyway, after explaining it was part of a community challenge I was participating in… she says “oh, can’t you just take a few days off?”
Nope. Can’t.
I’ll get kicked out, and everyone else will get penalized.
“That’s crazy!” she says.
Funny, most people around me say the same.
My mom.
My coworkers.
My friends.
In fact, a long time friend I was chatting with today says “you’re crazy AND you’re probably paying to do this, huh?”
Well… I pay a monthly fee, but I made most of it back this month because we also build it into a recurring revenue business model.
“Wait, what? You get paid to workout?”
Basically, yes.
AND, I get to sharpen my mind and build digital assets through the storytelling aspect of it.
So, you see why I don’t want to quit just because my knee hurts a little bit?
It’s called GRIT for a reason!
It’s not for everyone… But for those of us that said “all in” again this month (there are 93 of us now) it’s becoming a way of life and not something I’m going to just up and quit because of a little discomfort.

It’s actually super fun, and the mental/physical transformations we’re seeing have been AWESOME!
